The Ministry of Finance has officially appointed Uttar Kumar Khatri as the Acting Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). This decision grants him the leadership responsibilities of the country’s capital market regulator, overseeing the share market and financial securities sector during his tenure.
Prior to this appointment, Khatri served as a Senior Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, specifically leading the Revenue Management Division. His transition into the leadership role at SEBON comes as part of a broader administrative realignment within the ministry to ensure regulatory stability in Nepal’s capital and share markets.
