Upper Tamakoshi scrip trades at Rs.336 per share; what will NEPSE do about 50% price increment?

As the market opened today, the scrip of Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) was traded at Rs.336 per share which increased by Rs.112 per share or 50%. Yesterday, the price of the scrip closed at the upper opening range of Rs.224 per share.

On inquiring about the issue with the spokesperson of NEPSE, he said that it is a techinal issue and the team is looking into it. He added that the board is discussing the aspects of the issue as the trade has already taken place at Rs.336 per share and still there are buy orders at the said price.

Looking at the market depth, heavy quantity of buy order is available at the high price. A total demand of 201,955 units are in demand at a price higher than that of yesterday.
