Universal Power Company conducts program regarding company’s preference share at Rupandehi Butwal

Universal Power Company, a subsidiary of CEDB Hydro Fund has conducted an awareness program related to the company’s preference shares. Butwal Udhyog Banijya Sangh and Universal Power Company Limited jointly conducted the program at Rupandehi, Butwal.
The program highlighted on the estimated cost of the project, amount of investment viable to investors and rewards from their investment.
Universal Power Company Limited had provided an opportunity for general public to invest in the preference share of 11 MW Lower Khare Khola Hydropower Project.
The company has initiated the construction of the hydropower project located at Suri, Chankhu and Khare VDC of Dolakhadistrict.The hydropower is aimed to complete within 3 years at the budget cost of Rs 9.04 arba.
Investors can buy up to 1000 units preference shares at par value of Rs 100.In return, 7.5 percent interest per annum will be provided to investors till the completion of the project.
The company will close the issuance of preference share of the hydropower project by the end of Ashad.
Universal Power Company Limited has constructed 4.4MW Radhi Hydropower Project, 183 MW Syange Hydropower Project. At present , the company is working on 10.3 MW Dordi , 7 MW Rukumgadh and 45 MW Kasuwakhola Hydropower projects.
