Unilever reports 16.32% profit rise in Q3; sales turnover increase to Rs 1.19 arba

Unilever Nepal Limited has reported a 16.32  percent rise in its net profit in the third  quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.

According to the unaudited financial statement published by the multinational company today, its profit after tax has risen to Rs 25.65 crore up from Rs 22.05 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

The company’s sales turnover for current quarter has increased to Rs 1.19 arba as compared to Rs 98.83 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

Likewise the profit available for appropriation after calculating profit brought forward from the previous quarter, its net profit stands at Rs 1.33 arba as compared to Rs 1.13 arba in the corresponding quarter.

The company has also stated that its total expenditure grew from Rs 81.93 crore in previous quarter to Rs 95.66 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.

Unilever reserves and surplus surpasses to Rs 1.33 arba in third quarter up from Rs 1.13 arba in previous quarter.

Its EPS has gone up to Rs 279 in Q3 from Rs 239 in the previous quarter , and its net worth per share now stands at Rs 1552, up from Rs 1330. The company’s P/E ratio stands at 65.69 times.

The Last traded price of Unilever Nepal stood at Rs 19,413 on June 8.
