Tussle between buyers & sellers keeps market stagnant; Index slides by meager 3.50 points with turnover above Rs 1.63 arba

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has decreased by 3.50 points or 0.21% to close at 1657.02 points today.
Nepse Index opened at 1660.52 points today and the local bourse was seen fluctuating throughout the day-- signaling equal pressures between both buyers and sellers.
248,809 units shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) and 199,397 units shares of Nabil Balanced Fund-1 (NBF1) were traded the most today. As Nepal Bank has published announcement to issue 23.74% right shares today only.
Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFl) and Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) hit positive circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.63 arba where more than 27.17 lakh units shares were traded through 10,900 transactions.
Sensitive index and float index decreased 1.01 and 0.27 points respectively.
Except Hotels, Finance and Insurance sub-index, all the sub-indices landed in red zone today. Hydropower sub-group witnessed the drop of 33.06 points whereas Hotels sector surges by 77.21 points.
