Turnover plunges to Rs 217.19 million; Share price of ARDBL up by 10%

The local bourse surged meager 1.8 points or 0.19 percent to close at 943.16 level.

However the benchmark index gained more than 4 points to reach up to the level of 945.86 within the initial trading hour and there after came down couple of points till the market closed.

Maximum of Prabhu Bank’s shares were traded amounted Rs 11.33 million. Shares of commercial banks like LUBL and EBL were traded more than Rs 9 million each.

Share Price of Araniko Development Surged by 10 percent to close at Rs 187. Share Price of NBBL, AHPC, KDBL and HDL gained more than 4 percent today.

However the total turnover of the day amounted just Rs 217.19 million where 1,049,552 unit shares of 142 companies were traded.

As of today, Commercial banks shares were traded more than Rs 108.98 million. Development banks and Insurance shares were traded of Rs 32.52 million and Rs 23.76 million respectively.

Among the sub-indices, Finance and Others landed in red. HydroPower, Development bank and Manufacturing gained maximum points compared to remaining sub-indices.

NCCB, OFL and VBBL were among the top losers of the day.
