Turnover above Rs 54 crore; NEPSE down by 18.26 points

NEPSE dipped down by double digit of 18.26 points or 1.75 percent to close at 1028.14 level.
Today was the day of ups and downs in the secondary market where the NEPSE index came down from 1046 to the level of 1024 within the 40 minutes of trading mainly due to surge in the selling investors who wanted to book profit.
Thereafter the benchmark index moved up above 1044 level amid the surge in buying investors and then slanted down to 1028.14 level till closing.
Total turnover of the day stood at Rs 54.12 crore were more than 11 lakhs shares were traded of 137 companies.
Maximum shares of ILFC, CBL, PRVU, CZBIL, LBL, SANIMA and NBB were traded today.
Maximum turnover were of EBL, NABIL, CZBIL and SCB.
Share Price of EIC and JEFL increased by more than 9 percent. However share price of PRDBL, SKBBL, LLBS and ICFC plunged by more than 8 percent today.
Others was the only sub-index to land in green recording surge of 2.35 points.
Banking, Hotels, Development and Hydro sectors dropped by double digits.
