Turnover above Rs 265 million, GBIME among the top traded shares

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited recorded surge of meager 2.04 points or 0.22 percent to close at 928.13 level.
Opening at 926 level this afternoon, the local bourse faced ups and downs throughout the day and there after managed to gain points at the end.
More than 12 percent or of Rs 33.65 million trading were done of Global IME shares. After GBIME, Shares of commercial banks like LUBL, NCCB and NBL were mostly traded today.
The total turnover of the day has surged up to Rs. 265.61 million where 811,463 unit shares of 128 companies were traded.
Trading of only commercial banks were done more than 55 percent. Beside commercial bank, trading of shares of Insurance companies and Development banks were done maximum.
Hydropower and Insurance index surged maximum today by 0.64 and 0.42 percent respectively.
Whereas Hotels and Manufacturing index landed in red today.
Share Price of KCDBL, SICL and LGIL surged maximum today. However share price of KEBL and GBIME dropped by 9.2 and 4.9 percent respectively.
