Trading of Promoter Shares amounts more than Rs 122 million; NEPSE surges 4.26 points after announcement of budget

NEPSE index gained 4.26 points or 0.45 percent to close at 950.72 level.

The local bourse surged just after a day of the announcement of the budget.

The total turnover of the day stood at Rs 342.78 million where 971,529 unit shares of 143 companies were traded.

More than Rs 122.85 million trading were done of only promoters shares where PRVUPO, NLICLP and LBLPO were traded amounting Rs 49.06 million, Rs 39.14 million and Rs 34.65 million respectively.

Share Price of CBBL, PFL and KEBL surged more than 9 percent. PROFL, KDBL and OHL price went up by more than 5 percent.

Trading and Others were the only sector to land in red. Hotels and Manufacturing gained maximum of 2.02 percent and 1.76 percent respectively.

Insurance companies and Development banks were traded amounting Rs 42.12 million and Rs 50.52 million respectively.
