Trading of Nepal Life Insurance to resume on Nepse from today

Trading of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited will resume in Nepal Stock Exchange from today (Ashad 16, 2016). The trading of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) was halted in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) from June 12, 2016 to carry out investigation on the FPO issue of the insurance company. SEBON had asked Nepal Life Insurance information and details regarding Further Public Offering (FPO) of the insurance company which had created confusions among public shareholders. The 224th Board of Director Meeting of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) held on Jestha 26, 2073 had decided the price of Further Public Offering (FPO) at Rs.2951 per Kitta. Nepal Life Insurance had furthered the FPO without presenting details to SEBON and the Board is working out to bring uniformity in the premium price fixation of the insurance company. Also SEBON has directed NEPSE to disseminate information only after reviewing  whether the price of FPO is as per Securities Act 2063 and Securities Registration and issue Regulation, 2065 or not.
