NEPSE Index Records Moderate Loss on the Last Trading Day of this Week; Only One Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a minimal loss, losing 11.90 points (0.45%) to close at 2,587.25. This follows a 0.26 -point gain in the previous trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2,592.26 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,600.47 and a low of 2,582.36 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.29 Arba, with 11,912,550 shares traded across 356 companies through 43,685 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.50 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.08 Kharba.

 

10.75% SBL Debenture 2089 (SBLD89) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 26.53 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,360.00.

 

NMB Debenture 10.75%-2089/90 (NMBD89/90) led the gainer's list with a 14.29% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,400.00.

 

Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.55%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 448.00.

 

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.20%, while Trading Index recorded the highest loss, down 0.96%.
