Trading of Everest Insurance resumes in NEPSE

Trading of Everest Insurance Company Limited (EIC) has been resumed in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) from today after NEPSE received official letter from SEBON. As per the spokesperson of SEBON, the Board has decided to resume trading considering the inconvenience for investors. However, the investigation has not been completed. Earlier, trading of the insurance company was suspended due to investigation on insider trading. However, the trading will not start today as the brokers are halting trading at NEPSE. EIC was suspended for investigating possible insider trading on Ashad 6, 2074.  Everest Insurance, that declared issuance of 600% right share for its upcoming AGM, had started to gain market price and transaction turnover a few days before the notice was published.
