Trading at NEPSE down due to fire at NEPSE office; trading hours to be extended

Fire broke out at Nepal Stock Exchange’s office yesterday as a result of power surge. However, it has been reported that the damage was contained without hazardous effect. Due to this, the trading has not started yet. Mr. Murahari Parajuli, Spokeperson of NEPSE said that due to power issue in NEPSE network, the trading hours will be extended today. Trading in stock market will start as soon as the power problem is solved. The fire accident occurred yesterday at 9: 15 PM in the first floor. The fire brigade handled the situation at the same time.
