Tourist Arrival Statistics in Nepal for August 2023
In the past month, Nepal has welcomed 67,153 tourists. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, this number of tourists arrived in Nepal in August 2023.
The majority of these tourists hail from India, with China and America following closely behind, as reported by the Tourism Board.
In specific numbers, the count of Indian tourists visiting Nepal in this month stands at 26,665, while 5,027 visitors come from China, and 4,629 tourists have arrived from America.
Additionally, the Board notes that 3,858 tourists entered Nepal from Sri Lanka, and 3,190 people visited Nepal from Bangladesh. From Britain, 2,711 tourists have come to Nepal, with 1,588 tourists arriving from Spain.
Similarly, the statistics indicate that 1,520 visitors are from Japan, 1,496 from Italy, and 1,347 from Australia have also made their way to Nepal, according to the board's data.
