Total turnover crosses Rs 70 crore; trading of NIBPO amounts Rs 26.91 crore

NEPSE index slipped down by 3.74 points or 0.36 percent to close at 1030.40 level today.
The total turnover of the day crossed Rs 70 crore to amount Rs 70.20 crore where promoter share of Nepal Investment bank alone was traded of more than Rs 26.9 crore via broker no. 43 and 40.
Maximum shares of companies like NLIC, EBL, CZBIL, SANIMA, CHCL and HBL were traded today.
Share Price of IDBL, TDBL, SDBL, UFCL and ICFC gained more than 5 percent.
However shares like NNLB, SFL, KCDBL, MSBBL and PRIN were among the top losers of the day.
Opening at 1034 level this afternoon, the local bourse dipped up to 1027 level within 30 minutes of trading and thereafter remained around that level through the day.
HydroPower and Insurance were the sectors to land in green gaining 3.28 and 10.52 points respectively.
Banking, Hotels, Development, Finance, Manufacturing and Others sub-indices landed in red today.
Altogether more than 13 lakh unit shares of 133 companies were traded through 3309 transactions worth Rs 70.20 crore.
