The week of loss comes to an end with NEPSE falling to 1157.88 points; Promoter Shares of Laxmi Bank worth Rs.4.70 Crore traded

The market continues to lose on the final trading day of the week after falling by 0.46% or 5.33 points today. The benchmark index closed at 1157.88 points, losing for the sixth consecutive day. The turnover stood at Rs.37.61 Crore achieved through trade of 1,556,790 units of shares traded through 6,594 transactions trading scrips of 168 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Laxmi Bank Limited (LBLPO) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.4.70 Crore achieved through trade of 419,717 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.112 per share.

Kalika Power Company (KPCL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5% or 4 points and closed at Rs.84 per share. Arun Valley Hydropower (AHPC) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.79% or 7 points and closed at Rs.96 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.98 points and closed at 253.79 points while Float Index lost 0.34 points and closed at 85.69 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points today. Hotels lost the most at 1.29% or 24.53 points.
