Taragaon Regency Hotels’ net profit at Rs 25.08 crore; net profit up by 107%

Taragaon Regency Hotels (TRH) has posted a net profit rise of 106.93% in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year 2073/74. As per the unaudited financial statement published today, its net profit has increased to Rs 25.08 crore from Rs 12.12 crore last year. This shows that the tourism and hotel industry is making a comeback from the devastating earthquake and economic blockade last year. Its revenue from operations has increased 29% to Rs 89.39 crore while its income from other business sources has increased three folds. As per the company, it has been renovating and maintaining its plants, machineries, café, lobby and banquets. As of the end of Q3 this year, its paid up capital stands at Rs 1.88 arba. Its annualized EPS now stands at Rs 17.72, net worth per share at Rs 113.50 and P/E ratio at 15.39 times.
