Swabalamban Laghubitta reports minimal growth in profitability; EPS at Rs. 64.47; NPL increased to 2.95%

Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SWBBL) has published its first-quarter report of FY 2077/2078 with an increase in Net Profit by 4.64%. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 12.77 crores as compared to Rs. 12.20 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
As per the management, the company is currently serving 2,46,361 customers from 140 branches from all around the country.
The company’s loans and advances increased by 2.92% to Rs. 15.48 Arba in this quarter. Similarly, the deposits have also increased to Rs. 9.68 Arba which is a growth of 21.12% in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by a meager 1.88% to Rs. 32.67 crores compared to Rs. 32.06 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company increased to Rs. 79.23 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 1.68 Arba.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs. 64.47. The net worth per share stands at Rs. 312.87. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 19.25 times.
