Surya Life Q3 earnings decline to Rs 1.55 crore; policy holders grew to 1, 53,095

Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) has posted a decline in quarterly earnings. The company’s profit in the third quarter of 2071/72 dropped 32.99% to Rs 1.55 crore from Rs 2.31 crore in the corresponding period last year 2070/71.
The company’s earnings from premiums rose to Rs 38.24 crore from Rs 16.83 crore.
Meanwhile, the number of policy subscribers increase to 1, 53,095 from 48,101.
The company has a paid up capital of Rs 50 crore. It’s annualized EPS stands at Rs 4.14 and net worth per share at Rs 129.96.
