Stock market rises by double digit after 6 trading days; Index surges by 17.51 points with turnover of Rs 32.05 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 17.51 points or 1.35% to close at 1316.80 points. NEPSE closed in green today after sliding down for 6 trading days in a row.
Today Nepse Index opened at 1299.24 points and was seen in upward trend.
76,478 unit shares of Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) and 49,742 unit shares of Nabil Equity fund (NEF) were traded the most today.
Premier Insurance Company Limited (PIC) and RSDC Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (RSDC) hit positive circuit today.
Kumari Bank Limited and Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) had the highest turnover of Rs 3.94 crore and Rs 3.04 crore respectively. The number of transactions of EBL and MBL reached 444 and 361.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 32.05 crore where more than 6.50 lakh units shares were traded through 3,736 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went up by 3.86 points and 1.33 points respectively.
Except Finance, all sectors in NEPSE landed in green. Sub-indices of insurance sector rose by 214.71 points.
