Stock Market continues to decline; Index dwindles by 7.02 points with turnover of Rs 42.26 crore

The benchmark capital market index, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), has declined by 7.02 points or 0.46% to close at 1526.51 points today. Today, NEPSE Index opened at 1533.49 points and went up to 1535.82 points during the first trading hour of the day, after that it was seen on downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 42.26 crore where more than 10.31 lakh units shares were traded through 5,456 transactions. ndex Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Shares (RBCLPO) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 3.10 crore) while Janata Bank Nepal Limited (JBNL) among the most traded shares (78,730 unit) today. The best performer of the day was Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) hitting 10% positive circuit break while Bhargav Bikas Bank Limited (BHBL) was the biggest loser today. Sensitive and float index slightly went down by 1.85 points and 0.52 points respectively. Except Manufacturing & Production and Others, All sectors at Nepse landed in red.
