Standard Chartered Bank unveils a revised 5 months maternity leave & increased paternity leave entitlement

Standard Chartered Bank Limited revised company leave policy reveals that, henceforth, the female employees of the company shall be entitled to 5 months of fully paid maternity leave, which was stretched from the earlier version of 90 days. Issuing a press statement published today, it states that the male employees would also be benefitted from this policy since; the company offers a modest relaxation on their paternity leave entitlement which proceeds from prior one week to updated two weeks. Moreover, the bank has also made provisions for adoption leave entitlement which could range from one to two weeks of official working days. The company believes that this crucial change is likely to manifest a cordial working environment and employee retention in the organization.
