Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) is convening 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Poush 26, 2074). The AGM is being held at Army Officers Club at 1:00 PM.
The main agendas of the AGM are:
- To endorse 100% bonus and 5.26% cash dividend (for tax purpose) from the net profit of FY 2073/74.

Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 30.24 crore. As per Insurance Board’s directive for all non-life insurance companies to increase their paid up capital to a minimum of Rs 1 arba by the end of FY 2074/75, UIC will need to issue a further capital hike of around Rs 70 crore (around 233.33%).
It had earned Rs 1.47 crore in the first quarter of the FY 2074/75.
