Sparsha Laghubitta earns Rs 1.79 crore with 197.50% growth in Q3; NPL rises to 1.33%

Sparsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SPARS) has reported a profit rise of 197.50% in the third quarter (Q3) of the current fiscal year 2076/77.
According to the unaudited financial report for the third quarter published today, the microfinance has stated that its net profit surged to Rs 1.79 crore as compared to profit of Rs 60.39 Lakhs in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.
Its net interest income has also increased to Rs 4.69 Crore in the Q3 up from Rs 2.24 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.
Sparsha Laghubitta has paid up capital of Rs.9.37 Crore. Its reserve has increased to Rs 2.59 crore. The microfinance company’s borrowing has increased from Rs 59.94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year to Rs 70.69 Crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2076/77.
SPARS’s non-performing loan has increased to 1.33% from 0.46% as stated by the third quarter financial report. Its annualized Earning per Share (EPS) stands at Rs 25.55, net worth per share at Rs 127.72 and quarter end P/E ratio at 27.12 times.
