Sparsha Laghubitta conducts 1st AGM; endorses 2.4 lakh kitta shares to general public

Sparsha Laghubitta Sanstha has conducted its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 21, 2074 at its central office Bijaypur, Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City-26. The AGM has endorsed the financial report of the chairperson, financial highlights, profit and loss statements, balance sheet and other financial highlights of fiscal year 2073-74 and has also appointed auditor for the fiscal year 2074-75. Issuing the press statement, the microfinance company informed that the AGM has endorsed to issue 2.4 lakh units of primary shares worth of 2.4 crore which is 30% of its current paid up capital. The meeting has also elected Dr. Sushil Bhakta Mathema, Dr. Surendra Neupane and Mr. Ajaya Kumar Mishra from Janata Bank Limited as board members from the promoters. The board meeting after the AGM has also nominated Dr. Sushil Bhakta Mathema as the new chairman of of the institution. The microfinance company with Janata Bank limited, Tourism Development Bank Limited and 75 other influencial people as its promoters has been providing financial services to 3400 customers through its 15 branches. The company has dispersed the loans of 11 crore and collected the deposits of 1.07 crore, reads the press note.
