Soaltee Hotel’s EPS at Rs 3.16, enormous increase in profit by 126.36% to Rs 18.29 crore

Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) renowned hotel of Nepal, has published its fourth quarter report of the FY 2073/74 today. It has reported massive increase of 126.36% in net profit to Rs 18.29 crore up from Rs 8.08 crore of the corresponding quarter of the last FY 2072/73.
Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 57.91 crore. Reserve and surplus of the company amounts to Rs 80.90 crore from Rs 71.91 crore –rises by 8.99%.
SHL’s earning per share (EPS) stands at Rs 3.16 per share and Net worth per share stands at Rs 23.97 and P/E ratio at 114.27 times. SHL’s par value per share is only Rs 10. Thus, every investor must be knowledgeable about the par value of this company as other company generally have par value of Rs 100, one must not be confused with this point. This might be the main reason of the investors to get attracted towards the stock of hotel company as EPS seems to be impressive with respect to the market price.
SHL has distributed 10% bonus shares and 11.50% cash dividends to its shareholders from the profit it had earned in the FY 2072/73.
Its LTP stood at Rs 375 as on August 13, 2017.
