Siddhartha Bank expands to 100 branches

As mandated by Nepal Rastra Bank for commercial banks to open branches in different locations of the country where access to banking services is not available, Siddhartha Bank has established new branches at Yashodhara of Kapilvastu, Ramgopalpur of Mahottari and Binayi Triveni of Nawalparasi. The branch came into operation from Falgun 16, 2074. With the opening of these branches, the branch network of the Bank throughout the country reaches 100. Logo file (1) As per the press statement issued by the bank, these branches, in accordance with the policy of Nepal Government and Nepal Rastra Bank, will manage the accounts and financial transactions of local government. Likewise, these branches shall offer a wide array of banking products and services, which will benefit a large number of customers residing in and near Yashodhara, Ramgopalpur and Binayi Triveni. Currently, the Bank serves its customers throughout the country through 100 branches including 3 extension counters, 99 branchless banking locations, 107 ATMs and 687 POS machines. As per the unaudited financial results as at Magh of fiscal year 2074/75, the Bank has recorded a deposit portfolio of Rs 87.05 arba and a loan portfolio of Rs 78.56 arba. The bank has recorded operating profit of Rs 1.27 arba over the same period.
