Siddhartha Bank at Aamchowk of Bhojpur; branch network strengthens to 82

As mandated by Nepal Rastra Bank for commercial banks to open branches in local bodies lacking banking services, Siddhartha Bank has established its branch at Aamchowk of Bhojpur. The branch came into operation from January 8, 2018. Issuing the press statement, the commercial bank informed that the branch, in accordance with the policy of Nepal Government and Nepal Rastra Bank, will manage the accounts and financial transactions of local government. Likewise, the branch shall offer a wide array of banking products and services, which will benefit a large number of customers residing in Aamchowk and its vicinity. The Bank is opening 14 additional such rural branches in the near future. Logo file With the opening of this branch, the Bank’s network throughout the country reaches 82 branches, 3 extension counters, 105 ATMs, 99 branchless banking locations and more than 650 POS machines. As per the unaudited financial results as at Mangsir of fiscal year 2074/75, the Bank has recorded a deposit portfolio of Rs. 82.15 billion and a loan portfolio of Rs. 73.80 billion.
