Shivam Cement has handed over an insurance claim of Rs 5 lakh each to two masons who had insurance coverage on workplace-related accidents under the extensive insurance program of the cement manufacturer.
The company had earlier collaborated with the insurance service providers to get 3000 plus construction workers across the nation insured against any potential workplace-related accidents, per the media statement.
