Shikhar Insurance Company (SICL) Proposes Dividend for FY 2076/77; How much in Bonus shares and Cash?

Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) has proposed the dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77.

The 238th meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 20 has proposed a 38% dividend from the paid-up capital maintained as of Ashad's end, 2077. The paid-up capital as of Ashad's end, 2077 was Rs. 1,05,73,10,600. Since 36.1% bonus shares and 1.9% cash dividend is distributed, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 38,16,89,127 and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 2,00,88,901.

However, the company issued 30% right shares on FY 2077/78. The new paid-up capital is Rs. 1,37,45,03,800. Thus, if we measure the dividend on this paid-up capital, 27.769% bonus shares and 1.462% cash dividend has been proposed.

Note that the dividend will only be distributed after approval by Beema Samiti and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.

As of writing, the LTP of the company stands at Rs. 1,850.
