Sharemarket investors-led strike comes to halt after understanding with SEBON; Mr. Tilak Koirala concludes his hunger strike

Coordinator of struggle committee of share investors Mr. Tilak Koirala has ended his hunger strike following the committee’s understanding with SEBON and on Asar 10, 2079 where the board has agreed to comply with all 19 demands of the struggle committee.

Chairman of the board Mr. Ramesh Kumar Hamal fed juice to Mr. Koirala amid an event thereby formally ending the strike. The board has reiterated that a few of the demands under its jurisdiction are already in a stage of being implemented while the board will facilitate between different concerned parties for meeting the remaining demands, as per the media statement.
