Shangri-la operating profit stands at Rs 12 crore; 4:1 right in offing

Shangrila Development Bank Limited (SADBL) has earned Rs 12 crore operating profit during the second quarter of the fiscal year 2071/72.
During the review period, the banks has collected total deposit of Rs 6.94 billion and mobilized Rs 5.98 billion in loan and advances. Banks NPAs is at very low level mainly due to efficient recovery system and its Credit Deposit (CD) ratio as per NRB guideline stands at 75 percent.
The banks has 25 branch office situated at different place of the country and also waiting for approval from Nepal Rastra Bank to open 5 more branches.
Earlier, Shangri-la Bikas Bank has offered 25 percent dividend – 15 percent bonus and 10 percent cash to its shareholders from the profit it earned during last fiscal year 2070/71.
The special general meeting held on Asoj 10 has already approved the decision to issue 4:1 right share to its shareholders.
