Shaishik Maslanda Udhyog Sangh celebrates its Silver Jubilee

Nepal Maslanda Tatha Saishik Udhyog has celebrated its 25th anniversary. After 25 years of its establishment with the aim to promote education to all the citizens of Nepal and to promote local level industrialization, it has been able to meet 80% of the domestic demands for educational materials, reads a press statement issued on the ceremony. masalanda sanga photo 1 The special ceremony to mark the silver jubilee and AGM of the company was conducted with the presence of senior vice-president of FNCCI, Mr. Sekhar Golchha as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, Mr. Golchha remarked that the educational inadequacy of the nation can only be resolved when all the citizens of Nepal have access to quality education. He lamented about the grim picture of Nepalese industrial and commerce sector despite being a member of World Trade Organization as the value this sector had once offered to national economy has dipped down to some 4-5% from earlier share of 14-15%. Chairman Mr. Sunil Gopal Shrestha, in his address, highlighted the challenges being faced by the industry and the contribution his organization has been putting into the national economy and towards education. The program was also attended by special members of FNCCI: Mr. Chandi Prasad Dhakal, Vice President Chandra Dhakal, Treasurer Mr. Gyanendra Lal Pradhan among other senior officials of the FNCCI.
