Sewa Bikas Bank opens 15th branch in Arghakhanchi

Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (SEWA) has opened its 15th branch office in Thada-3, Amrai, Arghakhanchi. Mr. Bhim Prasad Tulachan, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the new branch today amid an inauguration program today. Issuing a press statement today, the bank said that it has collected Rs 5.41 arba in deposits and disbursed Rs 4.83 arba in loans so far. The bank has been providing services to more than 77,000 customers through its 15 branches and 7 ATM outlets around Nepal. DSC_0614 The bank had already signed agreement for merger process with Pokhara-based Kamana Bikas Bank Limited. DSC_0622 The inauguration ceremony was convened amid grand reception from the customers. More than 500 new accounts were opened and Rs 1.15 crore was collected in deposits on the same day itself. The bank said that the new branch was opened after special requests from businessmen in the Thada area. The bank will be providing free 1-year subscription on ATM and mobile banking for its customers opening accounts in the new branch.
