Selling pressure drags market down by 9.41 points; Turnover exceeds to Rs 90.93 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has declined by 9.41 points or 0.58% to settle at 1612.91 points.
Today Nepse Index opened at 1622.33 points and the local bourse was seen in downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above 90.93 crore in which more than 15.42 lakh units shares were traded 9,515 transactions.
Swarojgar Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (SLBBL) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 6.63crore) while NMB Sulav Investment Fund Limited -1(NMBSF1) among the most traded shares (2.33 lakhs unit) today.
The best performer of the day were Swarojgar Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (SLBBL), Himalayan Power Partner Limited (HPPL) and Himalayan Distillary Limited (HDL) hitting 10% positive circuit break while Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1 (SIGS1) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index slightly went down by 2.39 points and 0.75 points respectively.
Except Development banks and Manufacturing & Production, all sectors at Nepse landed in red. Sub-indices of insurance decline the most by 45.38 points.
