SEBON receives inputs from 100 plus stakeholders for its upcoming plans and policies; investors put strong demand with board to facilitate in welcoming investment from NRNs

Securities Board of Nepal has concluded suggestion gathering and interaction event on Asad 3, 2076 with the key stakeholders regarding the main issues that need to be included in its programs and policies for the upcoming fiscal year 2076-77.
The event that was chaired by board’s chairman Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki saw the participation from former chairman of the board, heads of NEPSE and CDSC, university professors and stock market researchers, representatives of stock brokers and sharemarket investors’ associations, business journalists, among others.
Several stakeholders provided range of ideas for the board to incorporate in its upcoming plans and policies where the investors’ groups have highlighted the need to bring NRNs’ capital to the share market of Nepal. They also recommended the board to take concrete action against those institutions who fail to conduct timely AGM.
