The Budget of 2076/77 had mentioned the formulation of the Trustee Act to manage Mutual Funds, Dematerialization and CDS and Clearing. Thus, to prepare the same Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has formed a committee headed by the Executive Director of Regulation and Management Department.

Similarly, the report provided by Ministry of Finance to improve Money and Capital Market of Nepal had stated that after the full implementation of NEPSE online trading system (NOTS), the brokerage charge will be revisited. In addition to that SEBON is also receiving a lot of complaints from investors to lower the brokerage charge. In this backdrop, the charge levied by SEBON, NEPSE and brokers will be revisited by keeping the international practice in consideration.

Likewise, a minimum of 1% of the profit will be separated in Corporate Social Responsibility Fund to invest in Investor Literacy.

Thus, to study this another committee has been formed with four members under the leadership of Vice Executive Director of Policy, Research and Planning Department.
