Securities Exchange Board of Nepal has made a new CSR related provision for all the stockbrokers, merchant bankers, credit rating agencies, central depository agency to allocate 1% of their annual profit for CSR activities.

These agencies are required to spend their allocated CSR amount primarily to raise awareness among general people about the safe practices in the securities market, as per the media statement.
