Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has directed the listed companies to directly deposit the cash dividend to the shareholders’ Banks and Financial Institutions (BFI) account. Such BFIs should be a member of Nepal Clearing House Limited.   SEBON had started the trading of dematerialized shares from Magh 1,2072 for the modernization of share market. From now onwards shareholders trading from outside the valley do not need to come to Kathmandu to get their cash dividend with the availability of the service. Also the trend of cash dividend freezing will come to an end says the Board.
