SEBON Adds Two New Mutual Fund Schemes "NMB Hybrid Fund L-II" and "Laxmi Value Fund-II' Under Preliminary Review

Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has added two new mutual fund scheme, "NMB Hybrid Fund L-II (NMBHF2)" and "Laxmi Value Fund-II ( LVF2 )", under preliminary review in the latest list of mutual fund scheme pipeline status published.

NMB Hybrid Fund L-II will have a fund size of Rs. 1.2 Arba divided into 12 Crore units, having par value of Rs.10 per unit. The application was sent to SEBON on Jestha 13. NMB Capital is the fund manager of the mutual fund scheme. Whereas, NMB Bank is the Fund Sponsor of this scheme. 

NMB Capital Limited currently manages three mutual fund schemes out of which two are close-end funds "NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 (NMBHF1)" and "NMB 50 (NMB50)" whereas one is open-end fund "NMB Saral Bachat Fund - E ( NMBSBF )".

Similarly, Laxmi Value Fund-II ( LVF2 ) will have a fund size of Rs.80 Crore divided into 8 Crore units, having par value of Rs.10 per unit. The application was sent to SEBON on Baisakh 29. Laxmi Capital Market Limited is the fund manager of the mutual fund scheme.

Laxmi Capital Market currently manages two mutual fund schemes. Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) is a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme which began with a fund size of Rs. 80 Crore and Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) is a closed-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme which began with a fund size of Rs. 1.25 Arba. Laxmi Bank is the Fund Sponsor of this scheme.

Altogether, there are 14 mutual fund schemes (both closed end and open end) of different merchant banks of worth Rs 14.95 arba in the SEBON pipeline.
