The Investment Board has disclosed that the first day will feature two special sessions alongside the opening session. These sessions, titled "Exploring Investment Opportunities in Nepal" and "Success Stories of Investments in Nepal," will be held. On the following day, there will be three simultaneous sessions, each consisting of three-panel discussions, as outlined by the Investment Board Nepal Office.

The topics for the second day's Parallel Session 1 include discussions on 'Navigating Nepal's Renewable Energy Potential,' 'Innovative Financing Landscape,' and 'Investment Opportunities and Green and Climate Resilient Business in Nepal.' Parallel Session 2 will focus on 'Harnessing Green Finance for Sustainable Investments,' 'Investing in Tourism,' and 'Strengthening Nepal's Agro-processing Value Chain for Export Growth.' Meanwhile, Parallel Session 3 will cover 'Driving Innovation and Growth in Manufacturing,' 'Enhancing Nepal's Startup Climate and Ease of Doing Business,' and 'ICT: a Vibrant Investment Platform.' Additionally, Session 4 will host a panel discussion on 'Leveraging PPP for Infrastructure and Services.'

The summit, titled 'Emerging Nepal Investment Summit 2024,' will be hosted at Hotel Soaltee in Kathmandu, featuring about 150 showcase projects. Originally planning to present 125 showcase projects, the board has expanded the number with contributions from the private sector, provinces, and local levels. Separate stalls with dedicated staff will provide information about these projects.

With less than two weeks remaining until the summit, preparations are in full swing, with expectations of over 260 guests from 31 countries. The board is also actively negotiating Project Development Agreements (PDAs) for three projects and preparing for a Project Investment Agreement (PIA) with Dabur Nepal Private Ltd. Furthermore, a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will be held before the summit, during which Nepal plans to issue a call for Expression of Interest (EOI) for 20 projects, categorized into different phases of development and investment readiness.
