Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta (SNLB) Reduces Dividend for FY 2076/77

Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SNLB) has proposed an 8.55% for the fiscal year 2076/77. This is the company's first dividend after the merger between Naya Nepal Laghubitta and Sarathi Laghubitta. The company had previously proposed a 9.589% dividend for the same fiscal year.

The 8th meeting of the board of directors held on Falgun 11 had previously decided to distribute 9.11% bonus shares and 0.479% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. However, the amendment on the reports for the fiscal year led the company to amend the dividend to 8.13% bonus shares and 0.42% cash dividend. Since the paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 23,53,86,150, the bonus shares amount to Rs. 1,91,52,000 and the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 10,08,000.

Note that this dividend will be distributed to investors maintained after the merger. The dividend will be distributed only after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.

As of writing, the company's LTP stands at Rs. 1,409 per share.
