Sanima launches VISA debit card

KATHMANDU, Jan 2:

Sanima Bank has introduced VISA debit card which can be used in ATM counters and point of sales across Nepal and India.

Issuing a statement on Sunday, officials of the bank said that the new service has been started with the intention of expanding the bank´s services and networks. Meanwhile, the bank has also installed 27 new ATM counters in various locations.

The VISA debit card was officially launched by the bank´s brand ambassadors -- Madan Krishna Shrestha Hari Bansha Acharya -- by making transaction through the newly installed ATM counter.

During the event, Bhuvan Kumar Dahal, CEO of the bank, said the bank would launch International Debit and Prepaid Travel Cards very soon.
