Samata laghubitta proposes 31.58% dividend; 15% bonus and 16.58% cash

Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SMATA) has proposed 31.58% dividend for its shareholders from the profit till 2075/76.

The 81st Board Meeting of the Microfinance held on Ashwin 09, 2076 has decided to propose 15% bonus shares and 16.58% cash dividend. Futher details are:

Current paid-up capital: Rs 6.06 crore
Bonus shares: 15% worth Rs 91 lakh 800
Cash dividend: 16.58% worth Rs 1 crore 58 thousand 779 including tax
Total dividend: 31.58% worth Rs 1 crore 91 lakh 59 thousand 579
Capital after adjustment: Rs 6.97 crore

The proposal is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the microfinance.

SMATA will be issuing 1:2 (200%) right shares from Ashwin 26, 2076 to Mangsir 01, 2076. A total of 12 lakh 13 thousand 440 unit right shares worth Rs 12.1344 crore is being floated. The proposed dividend is for capital before the right shares.
