Sagarmatha Jalbidhyut Company appoints Prabhu Capital as issue manager to float 54.88 lakh unit shares in IPO; 9.6 MW hydro project in Ilam already begins production of hydro energy

Sagarmatha Jalbidhyut Company, the developer of 9.6 MW Upper Mai Hydropower project at Ilam Nagarpalika of Ilam district has appointed Prabhu Capital as issue manager for the issuance of 54.88 lakh unit shares to the project affected and general public.

The agreement was signed between Dr. Bhogendra Prasad Guragai, chairman of the hydro developer and MD of the merchant banker Mr.   Dinesh Thakali, amid a program.

The hydropower company has so far completed 100% of the construction work and has already begun commercial production of the electricity since Jestha 32 2077, as per the media statement.
