Rural Microfinance Development Centre changes name to RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha 

As per the notice published by the microfinance company today, the name of the “RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited” has been approved by the Office of Company Registrar (OCR) on Jestha 11, 2075. All the assets and liabilities in the name of Rural Microfinance Development Centre Limited will now be responsibilities of RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.

All class "D" microfinance institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank have been changing their names to "Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha" instead of "Development Banks" as per the provisions in BAFIA Act 2073.
