Rs. 95 Lakh Spent on Prime Minister Prachanda's Delegation Visit to India

During the visit of the participating delegation accompanying Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to India, an expenditure of nearly one crore rupees was incurred from the state fund.

As per the Ministry of Finance, a total of Rs. 95 lakh 27 thousand rupees have been allocated for covering the travel expenses of the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister on his official visit to India.

In Ashad 2080, the Ministry of Finance disclosed that the aforementioned amount was utilized specifically for the travel expenses of a designated individual within the delegation.

The Council of Ministers, during its meeting on 15th Jestha, officially approved this expenditure, thereby providing the necessary budgetary sanction for the delegation's travel expenses.

Prime Minister Prachanda embarked on his visit to India on 17th Jestha, leading a jumbo team that comprised several ministers and officials, forming a comprehensive tour group representing Nepal's interests during the visit.
