Rs. 2.03 Billion Allocated for Agricultural and Livestock Insurance in Upcoming Fiscal Year
The government has allocated Rs. 2.03 billion for the agricultural and livestock insurance program in the fiscal year 2082/83.
Presenting the budget, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that the allocation aims to expand access to crop and livestock insurance for farmers across the country. The program is expected to strengthen risk mitigation measures for the agricultural sector, benefiting a broader segment of the farming community.
