Rise in Net Interest Income Results 24.49% Rise in Net Profit of NIC Asia Laghubitta; EPS Stands at Rs 33.67

NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NICLBSL) published the fourth-quarter report of FY 2078/2079 with satisfactory growth of 24.49% in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 58.56 crore as compared to Rs. 47.04 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 4.61% to Rs. 16.31 Arba which was Rs. 15.59 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The deposits of the company increased by 25.20% to Rs 3.35 arba. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by a satisfactory 29.34% to 21.84 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 43.36% to Rs. 1.49 arba compared to Rs. 1.03 arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 1.73 arba in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 1.40 arba which is an increase of 68.56% in this quarter.
The company NPL increased to 1.43% from 0.93%.
Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 33.67. The net worth per share is Rs. 181. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 25.54 times.
