Golyan Group Supports Education of Martyrs’ Children; Inspires Young Nelson Parajuli
“Dear Nelson, do not limit yourself to the sky, dream beyond it and reach the horizon.” These inspiring words were shared by Akshay Golyan, Chairman and Managing Director of Golyan Group, as 2-year-old Nelson Parajuli took his first steps into school during the auspicious Saraswati Puja Akshar Aarambha ceremony. The message, posted alongside a heartfelt video on social media, reflects love, encouragement, and the spirit of mentorship, marking the beginning of Nelson’s educational journey toward a bright and limitless future.
Nelson is the son of Anish Parajuli, a martyr of the Gen-Z Movement. Though his father’s sacrifice has contributed to the country’s transformation, Nelson and his elder brother, 13-year-old Nicholas, have endured profound personal loss. Through his message, Akshay Golyan expressed support and courage, assuring the young brothers that their father’s bravery and love continue to live on through them. “Your father may not be with us, but his courage and love are alive in you,” Golyan said. “Seeing you take your first step into school fills me with pride; it is truly the beginning of your journey toward knowledge and freedom.”
Golyan personally visited Kathmandu Euro School, Baniyatar, to witness Nelson’s Akshar Aarambha. Under Golyan Group’s initiative, 24 children from martyr families, including Nelson, receive educational scholarships up to Grade 12. On Saraswati Puja, similar ceremonies were held for children in Pokhara and Siraha. Addressing Nelson, Akshay Golyan said, “We envision a future where you will shine and inspire others. You are never alone; I will stand beside you, supporting every dream you pursue. May all your aspirations come true, and I will always watch over you.”
